Roger McNeill has 28 years of experience in Procurement and Supply Chain Management. He is currently Vice President Global Procurement at Incitec Pivot, an Australian HQ’ed multinational corporation that manufactures fertiliser, explosives, industrial chemicals, and provides mining services.
Throughout his career, Roger has been fortunate to lead teams and deliver programs around the globe but is now an adopted Aussie, located in Brisbane, where between 2010 and 2012 he re-established Thiess’ centrally managed supply function. From 2012 to late 2014, in the position of Vice President and Chief Procurement Officer at Aurizon (formerly QR National), he managed the procurement transformation as the rail company evolved from a GOC to a modern, commercial transport and logistics powerhouse.
Over the last three years Roger’s focus has been shifting from cost out to demand management at IPL. Key to this is the work has been optimising an MRO supply chain of $100M in spare parts at 7 large manufacturing plants and 80 satellite sites.
